AfterHours background consists of largely Dubstep & Grime first getting into producing back in 2012. Education soon took over a year later and the 21 year old fell out the loop for a couple of years until Summer of 2017 where the resurgence in the underground scene inspired him to get back into production focusing on his complex sound design focusing on an array of Funky, Bass & Grime music.

Benteki supported some of of his unreleased material late in 2018 on Reprezent Radio sending music out to DJs for the first time to test the water before his debut release on 1FGRM003 entitled ‘Dubplate’ lead him to amass more support across leading London radio stations including Rinse FM.
