Ali McK

Ali McK is one of the most exciting talents rising out of the UK Funky scene right now. Since making himself known he has been a contributing force to pushing Funky both producing it and pushing it out through his own Label - Articulate Sound. Having also released on other reputable Labels with IYZ on the likes of More Time Records and In:flux Audio this has lead him to gain support support from the likes of Roska, Murder He Wrote, My Nu Leng, Distro, Killjoy, Marcus Nasty and loads more. Not to mention Skream hunting him down to get him to do an exclusive funky dub of ‘Midnight Request Line’ for his World Exclusive Rinse FM Funky Special with D Double E.

Regular appearances at Beastwang as well as playing for Tumble Audio in his home city of Nottingham, and further afield such as The Nest (London) this has given him a platform to carry on pushing the resurgence of Funky through his live sets in different areas of the country. With ‘Ready’ and his Grime productions at the end of 2018 for Lyrical Strally’s ‘Grime Street’ & K Dot’s ‘1Forty Ting’ on 1FGRM003 which saw a Complex UK Premier, Ali McK is well on his way to being a household name.
