Casement made his mark on 1Forty with his track 'Hydrocity'. In June 2018 he gave it the VIP treatment to celebrate the Label arm turning 1 on the 1 Year Of 1Forty Release.
With releases previously on Wile Out, Project Allout Records & Electrikal Records the young Glaswegian has amassed support from fellow Scots - Polonis & Rapture 4D as well as Spooky and refix master Gundam. With opportunities few and far between north of the border until more recently for grime music in Scotland, Casement has paved his way into the scene through playing at the likes of Stereo, Broadcast, King Tuts, Kelburn Festival & Woodlands Festival whilst honing his sound in the studio for the past 5 years. With Polonis & Rapture putting the scene firmly on the map since the Red Bull Beetroots Project it’s no suprise to see more producers coming through from the north with such a unique take on Grime music.
Having appeared on Rinse FM with Marcus Nasty, Killa P & Long Range (Killaz Army) in April shortly after the release and now the VIP due to land the rest of 2018 is shaping up nicely. Casements interests go much further than just grime when it comes to underground genres as he is recognised also for his UK Funky creations which have been supported by Murder He Wrote amongst others. 2018 is looking to be the breakout year for the versatile producer with Toddla T hot on his tail.
