Deppz rise through the scene looks very similar to fellow 1Forty compatriot NuBass, as their relationship has helped them climb through the scene together through their numerous collaborations, whilst maintaining separate alias’s and productions.

So.. how did these two meet? A mutual friend is the answer. Despite hailing from Chelmsford, Essex a b2b came around in a small venue in London shortly after meeting through said mutual friend, which then lead to them deciding to make a couple of tracks together. In October last year Deppz sent NuBass an idea which was turned around in a couple of hours. That track was ‘Doomsday’ which set the bar for the both of them at the time, and since then each track the individual producers make as a duo breaks down more barriers.

With NuBass already having a 1Forty release under his belt he was keen for the Label to hear some of their collaborations. ‘Breach’ was signed and added to the chart topping 1FBSS003 in January 2019, the rest is history.
