Drax

Drax, based in Brighton and to no surprise a Southpoint regular with being on the South coast has been producing since 2011. He was part of the debut 1Forty Release - 1FGRM001. His collab with 20-4 entitled ‘Square Root’ took track #3 on the opening compilation.

He has played at some of the most reputable venues in Brighton such as Patterns and also further afield in the hub of underground music, Bristol. He has had cameo appearances on other labels besides 1Forty including Chameleon Audio and Simply Deep but his mainstay is with his Southpoint family where he dropped his LP entitled ‘AFK’ in 2018. His grimey yet melodic presence has helped him gather support from Spooky, Murlo, My Nu Leng, Plastician, Slackk, Jack Dat and plenty more. Sian Anderson also named his remix of Triple S’s ‘Pull Up’ #1 two weeks in a row on her 1Xtra ‘Top 5 Remix’ Chart.
