Fish

You may or may not know it, but Fish has been a pilar of the Bass scene over the past decade. Having first dabbled in production at the tender age of 11, he’s been involved with music for longer than most. From running Rood FM between 2010 and 2015 to running various record labels and online blogs there almost no aspect of music Fish hasn’t been involved with.

Fast forward to the present hour of his debut 1Forty Release ‘Mad’ and his list of accolades is enough to make your eyes water. From playing to 30,000 people on Bang Hai Towers at BoomTown to frequent appearances at Outlook Festival in Croatia, the infamous Fabric club, and numerous headline shows overseas, the Bristolian is well travelled to put it lightly. Its no surprise theres a mountain of reputable Labels he has released on; such as Zinc’s Bingo Bass imprint, Roska’s Kick’s & Snares, The Stanton Warriors world renowned Punks, Tumble Audio, Formula, Four40, Saucy, Yosh, and thats just to name a few.

Add all of this to consistent highly praised reviews in Mixmag including a 10/10 (which are very hard to come by) as well as collaborations with the likes of Deekline, Holy Goof, General Levy & MC Navigator, his discography is enough to cement his place as a staple in the scene alone. Support on his music comes far and wide from the likes of Dirtybird’s Claude VonStroke and Night Bass’s AC Slater stateside, to BBC Radio 1’s Mr Steezy - Toddla T.
