Freddie Martin

As a musician from a young age, Freddie Martin has become notorious for his dramatically orchestrated competitions within the UK bass music bracket. Held in high regard by a large proportion of the scene, Freddie has gone on to solidify his unique blend of orchestral instrumentation and intuitive sound design as one of the leading sounds in ‘Southern Bassline’ and underground dance music in general.

In July 2019 he was interviewed by UKF after an astonishing breakthrough year and it was to no suprise that he describes his motivation as “To make something different and true to myself and get someone to question what bass music is about and music in general”. When you peer int his discography you can see that his is something that is in his mind every time he flips open his DAW.

His debut 1Forty release came in the form of ‘Don’t Download’ which was part of the chart topping 1FBSS003.
