Killjoy

Having being a key player in Nottingham’s underground music scene since 2012 Killjoy’s productions have been duly rewarded with consistent releases in the last few years on the likes of Champion’s Label - Formula Records, and Tumble Audio.. The Label he has pioneered since starting out alongside his own venture - Joyride. His hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed over the years with productions for the likes of D Double E on ‘Like This’ as well as mix’s for FabricLive & THUMP.

Arguably one of 1Forty’s biggest collaborations yet came from Killjoy & Shantie in the form of ‘Voices In My Head’ in September 2018, taking the lead track on 1FFNG002. It was no secret that the two have been looking to work together on a track for quite a while now so we worked our magic and it lead to our 2nd Juno Chart topping Release and a Trench premier. Of course 1Forty had to welcome him back for 1FFNG003 with ‘Disturbance’. A track first heard by LOCKT on the 1Forty Takeover on Rinse FM shortly after the release of 1FFNG002 and was instantly signed for the following release. 1FFNG003 topped the Juno charts for 3 weeks.
