Lyrical Strally

Alongside PK & Saint P, Lyrical Strally has helped YGG form the perfect trio with 3 distinctive flows controlling sets on Boiler Room, Just Jam, 1Xtra, NTS and Rinse FM with the help of their DJ - Travis T. Since their breakthrough year in 2015 on AJ Tracy’s ‘Red Bull’ the group have gone on to dominate the grime scene through sets and releases.

An official remix for Sir Spyro’s smash hit ‘Side By Side’ in 2016 saw them sign to Logan Sama’s ‘Keepin it Grimey’ Label early in 2017 which their debut EP ‘World Domination’ released through. 2018 saw the trio then sign to Flowdans ‘Spent Shell’ imprint where under his management they released their biggest single to date on Astral Black - ‘Strikers’. This summer also saw them run an ad campaign alongside Sir Spyro earlier this year for Nike & FootLocker. Since 2017 they have appeared at a whole host of festivals including Glastonbury and the reputation defining Outlook Festival in Croatia.

1Forty stands by its ethos of bringing through upcoming talent and linking them up with established names. Its this way of culture 1Forty operates by that saw Lyrical Strally jump on vocals for 1Forty’s Ali McK, bringing through fellow Midlands producer Jhuttz on the buttons which saw them come together on 1FGRM003 to create a modern day grime anthem ‘Grime Street’. This was Premiered by Complex UK and supported by Toddla T & Sir Spyro across BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra.
