NothingNice is another reminder of why Bristol is the 140 capital of the UK. Taking huge influence from all realms of 140 past and present such as Deep Medi and Bandulu dubstep artists Egoless, Commodo, Kahn and Boofy, to the artist from the very origins of Grime music - Wiley, and especially the more modern take on gritty underground Grime from royalty Slimzee as well as Slimzos and Meanstreets key contributor Boylan. Spending the best part of four years honing his craft soaking in the hub of the UK underground scene in Bristol, the turn of 2019 saw the 24 year old get his first bout of material sent out which saw support across Rinse FM and NTS and even at the holy grail of Bristol - Motion.
A debut three track EP followed which was well received and supported by Spooky amongst others. The ‘How Many Times’ instrumental was the following project which landed in the 1Forty submissions and on receipt was taken without hesitation, yet still crying out for dominant vocal Dizzle Kid was on the other end of the phone ready to snap it up with a helping hand from Killa P dropping in a feature to pair up with his lead vocal.
