NuBass

NuBass made his mark on 1Forty with a track that has stood against the test of time - ‘Meltdown'. It was a landmark release with it being the first 1Forty Single. A VIP followed it up for the celebratory ‘1 Year of 1Forty’ Release as at the time it was the most streamed Bass release. The original was played by DJ Q and Jamie Duggan as the clock hit Midnight at BassFest NYE 2017 and the VIP was played by TQD on their bow out of their Radio 1 Residency. Following this we finally welcomed him to Leeds at Wire as part of Sammy Virji’s ‘Like A Virjin’ Tour. 2019 saw him add another two 1Forty releases to his discography with ‘Breach’ alongside Deppz on 1FBSS003 in January and a solo production entitled ‘The Modulator’ on 1FBSS004 in October.

Having only been producing since 2016 NuBass’s climb through the ranks has been nothing short of astonishing. His second to none work rate saw him go from bedroom producer to Night Bass recruit in the space of 2 years. In that time he headlined Stealth (Nottingham), Tank (Sheffield), appeared at our second home - Mint Warehouse (Leeds) and also made his international debut in Belgium. AC Slater, TQD, Skepsis, Holy Goof, FooR, Shapes, TS7, Darkzy & more have continuously supported his music which has now even reached the Night Bass camps big hitters in the States.
