Smokey is one of, if not the most active DJ & Producer in the Garage scene and is very much one of the veterans in the scene. His debut 1Forty release came on 1FFNG002 with the system obliterating ‘Where’s Larry?’ which became a chart topping release on Juno. He was welcomed back onto the following FNG release - 1FFNG003, with ‘Brock Out’, an authentic 2 step summer jam. This time topping the Juno charts for 3 weeks.

Other releases have come on the likes of Sam Divine’s Label D-Vine Sounds as well as Low Steppa’s critically acclaimed Simma Black its proven that his production is always pushing the boundaries for UKG. Having collaborated with some of the finest names old and new in the scene such as Mind Of A Dragon (recently setting up an alias as SMOAD for their releases as a duo), B-Live, Hatcha and loads more its seen him play the majority of London’s major venues on a heap of occasions.

Smokey has seen premiers from Target on 1Xtra and his track ‘License’ which is what influenced ‘Where’s Larry?’ was featured on Pure Garage mixed by FooR in 2017. The London born producer has gathered consistent support from a ton of names spanning from Flava D, DJ Q, Royal T, Matt Jam Lamont and even the likes of Tech superstars Richy Ahmed and Josh Butler as well as every DJ’s favourite DJ - DJ EZ. This summer has seen him branch out into radio as well landing him a slot on Flex FM (101.4) every Saturday night 6-8pm.
