Trigga

Another iconic name in the underground to come out of Manchester is Trigga. Bridging the gaps between Grime, Bass Music and Drum & Bass Trigga is one of the most versatile, talented MC’s in the UK. Being brought up amid a thriving soundsystem culture in Moss Side he first picked up a mic at age seven. Bitten by the bug from early he later found himself on pirate radio then on to the big rave scene rifling up the ranks of respectability with many repeat bookings from the top promoters in the UK. The same respect also comes from fellow artists in the studio with an ability to flex from Grime to Ragga styles, he’s in regular cohorts with some of the most forward-thinking producers and artists across all shades of Dance music. Having released music over the years with Grime’s flagship artists Skepta, JME, Wiley and Giggs to Bass music producers Loefah, Virus Syndicate and of course Zed Bias.

In 2019 his current standing as one of the core members of Shadow Demon Coalition is leading him around Europe with a hectic tour schedule headlining some of the biggest Drum & Bass raves in the world. With focusing predominantly on 170bpm again in the last few years yet rarely finding himself in one place for too long studio time has been limited, With this being his only original release since 2017 ‘Dance Dun’ saw Trigga make a much welcomed return on Grime alongside two of Manchester’s elite - Slay & Zed Bias.
